ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Sophie - 28 years old, mama to one beautiful little boy and one gorgeous fur baby, fiancée, and the founder of Stretches & Strokes.  

The idea for Stretches & Strokes was born when I was (very) heavily pregnant in 2020. In the midst of pregnancy insomnia, I spent many late nights researching mum and baby classes in the local area but struggled to find any that focused on wellness for both mama AND baby. 

Any potential plans were temporarily parked when I gave birth to Freddie in October but, soon after, I realised that there must be other mamas out there looking for similar classes to me! So why not run them myself?! With a background in education and EYFS, I decided I wanted to build upon my existing knowledge to be able to offer something different for local parents. My goal is to provide an opportunity for mamas and their little ones to bond in a space that focuses on the wellness of both parties. 

Stretches & Strokes offers courses, workshops and 1:1 sessions in Infant Massage, Baby Yoga and Toddler Yoga with an aim for mamas to be able to connect with others, their babies and themselves.
