Hi! I'm Sophie - 32 years old, mama to two beautiful little boys and one gorgeous fur baby, wife, and the founder of Stretches & Strokes.
The idea for Stretches & Strokes was born when I was (very) heavily pregnant in 2020. In the midst of pregnancy insomnia, I spent many late nights researching mum and baby classes in the local area but struggled to find any that focused on wellness for both mama AND baby.
Any potential plans were temporarily parked when I gave birth to Freddie in October but, soon after, I realised that there must be other mamas out there looking for similar classes to me! So why not run them myself?! With a background in education and EYFS, I decided I wanted to build upon my existing knowledge to be able to offer something different for local parents. My goal is to provide an opportunity for parents and their little ones to bond in a safe space, whilst creating beautiful memories along the way.
Stretches & Strokes offers courses and workshops and in Baby Massage, Baby Yoga & Sensory, Baby Spa Movement & Music, Tummy Time and Move & Explore (messy play) with an aim for parents to be able to connect with others, their babies and themselves.
